The Princess Test is a retelling of the Princess and the Pea. Lorelei is delicate, prone to ailments, picky about her food, water, and clothes. But she is compassionate and a lovely person. She and Nicholas (the Prince) fall in love. He wants her to win the Princess Test so he can marry her. Because of her pickiness, Lorelei is able to win.
I think one of my favorite bits was the alligator princess…with a carriage drawn by alligators. It’s just so ridiculous, I love it.
Anyone with a love for fairy tales will love this story; I highly recommend it for a fast read. It deserves 4 stars.
