I think this has become one of my favorite YA magic books. It starts out so predictably, boy meets girl, they get together to stop a big bad evil. But then…THEN the story starts to get amazing. And they go back in time to reverse an evil curse. It is so gooooood. I have not read any of Curley’s other work, but I really think I need to. Man can that woman write!
And for once, it was the girl who was the brave, knight in shining armor type, not the guy. Yay for awesome strong heroines!
But I loved it, and read the entire book without once putting it down. 5 star book, highly recommended for those who like YA fantasy.
