Today was volume twenty of Hana Kimi. A reminder of what the fluff manga criteria are: Do I enjoy the art? Does the plot line have sufficient action to keep me interested? Is there a sufficiently squeal-worthy love story? General silliness and frivolity?
Did I enjoy the art?
Of course! Always.
Does the plot line have sufficient action to keep me interested?
In this volume Mizuki tells Sano that Natasku told her that he loves her and we get more of Natasku’s crazy mom.
Is there a sufficiently squeal-worthy love story?
Yes! Mizuki buys Sano chocolates and almost confesses that she likes him.
General silliness and frivolity?
Not too much. But that’s okay, the chocolates bit made up for that!
This manga scored ¾.
