Today was volume 13 of Hana Kimi. This one was exciting! A reminder of what the fluff manga criteria are: Do I enjoy the art? Does the plot line have sufficient action to keep me interested? Is there a sufficiently squeal-worthy love story? General silliness and frivolity?
Did I enjoy the art?
Of course! Always.
Does the plot line have sufficient action to keep me interested?
Mizuki has to get a job because she has run out of money. There is a lot of randomness in this book, the photographer-helper job, the underwear thieves who leave flowers, and the appearance of Kayashima.
Is there a sufficiently squeal-worthy love story?
There was one sleepy kiss where Mizuki kisses Sano on the cheek because she is asleep and thinks it is her dad, but oh well. STILL A KISS! It counts.
General silliness and frivolity?
Not much. There was just a lot of random characters being added to this volume.
This manga scored 3/4.
